Gen16 exists to provide holistic emotional, physical, and spiritual care for adolescent moms in New Brunswick, NJ. Our desire is to empower them with the skills they need to raise their children with independence and the confidence found in Jesus.
Gen16 takes its name from Genesis 16, where God meets Hagar in the wilderness during her unexpected pregnancy. In that moment, Hagar gives God a name of her own — El Roi, the God who sees me. We exist to be the hands and feet of El Roi to the moms we serve.
